Hello, Beautiful Human!
Anyone else have those pesky, scowly frown lines between your eyebrows like me? People may ask, “What’s wrong?”, “Why are you mad?”, or “You look stressed out!”
I attribute them to the atrociousness of this year, but also being on my laptop most of the day intensely concentrating by researching products, completing trainings, and writing this blog for my dear readers. I am also starting to get just a hint of crow’s feet that turn into cute crinkles when I smile. NO IDEA where those came from because I am only…29 for the umpteenth time! Like, the 90s were only 10 years ago, right?
Ok, ok, I KNOW the 90s weren’t 10 years ago. They were only 20 years ago, and I’m sticking to that!
Exhibit A:
Product Review – Anew Clinical Line Eraser with Retinol Targeted Treatment
As an Avon Independent Sales Representative, it is my privilege and duty to provide honest reviews of products for you. Thankfully, Avon in the United States does not conduct animal testing, so I am your friendly online neighborhood product-testing Avon Lady!

I purchased a tube of Anew Clinical Line Eraser with Retinol Targeted Treatment (o.67 fl. oz).
Main Benefits:
- Contains retinol (#1 wrinkle-fighting ingredient recommended by dermatologists)
- Results visible in just one week (based on a clinical study)
- Skin looks and feels younger overnight
- Helps to reveal younger, softer, more refined skin, encouraging a flawless finish
- Dual system includes retinol and vitamins C and E
Sensitive Skin/Non-Toxic Benefits:
- Allergy-tested and dermatologist-tested
- Non-comedogenic and non-acnegenic
- Fragrance-free, phthalate-free, sulfate-free, petroleum-free
- Vegan
Q: I’m considering using retinol, but I’ve heard it can be harsh on the skin. Any suggestions?
A: Professional retinol treatments may cause irritation if you aren’t accustomed to them. Line Eraser with Retinol Targeted Treatment is light yet effective, so it’s great for first-time users and an ideal serum to apply under your moisturizers.
What’s the Deal with Retinol?
“Retinol is added to creams that go on your skin. It boosts the amount of collagen your body makes and plumps out skin, cutting down fine lines and wrinkles. It also improves skin tone and color and reduces mottled patches.”

Results in Just One Week? CHALLENGED ACCEPTED!
Night 1: First Use
09/22/20. The pic above was me in the afternoon. The product description advises to just use the retinol treatment in the evening and apply 5 minutes after cleansing your face. So, I completed my nighttime skincare routine of cleanser, serum, moisturizer, and wrinkle cream and let them soak in. I just gently massaged the retinol treatment on the frown line between my eyebrows, (see EXHIBIT A above), avoiding my eyelids and eyes.
INITIAL THOUGHTS: The product is gentle, creamy, and I didn’t feel it at all, which is a good thing for my sensitive skin! No adverse reaction/sting/tingle whatsoever!** It absorbed quickly and was not sticky or heavy. I am excited to see what happens!
**Individual Results may vary. Check the ingredients list and discuss with your dermatologist as needed.
Week 1 Results
Honestly, those “angry 11” lines are forged into my skin so deep like Paul Bunyan’s axe in the Grand Canyon! I did not see any change after one week, so I decided to extend the usage to a month.

Final Thoughts
Sigh. I guess I will have to use the entire TUBE to get rid of those lines! I may have forgotten to use it several nights.
Positive Takeaways: The formula is non-irritating on my skin and easy to apply. All hope is not lost. I will keep using it and update WHEN I start seeing results. Stay tuned!
Also, since my 90s man Leo wasn’t pictured with the chumps at the top of my post, here he is in all his 90s glory:
